  • Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge & Allee House – The famous Allee House stands today, as it did in the 18th century, overlooking the wonderful 16,000 acre Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. This great habitat provides salt marshes, ponds, fields, and forests for shorebirds to call home when the seasons change.
  • Delmar, DE: Delmar Historic Sites – The Mason-Dixon line is near Delmar, DE and is denoted by a historic marker. Delmar is a twin town split between Delaware and Maryland and has historically supported the Delaware Railroad with employees.   • Lewes, De: Lightship Overfalls – Located in Lewes, DE, Lightship Overfalls is one of 17 remaining lightships in the United States.  Lightship Overfalls was designated as a National Historic Landmark in 2011, and has been restored by a group of volunteers to keep this piece of history alive for us.
