  • Hutchinson, KS: Cosmosphere - The world-renowned Smithsonian-Affiliated Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center is home to the second largest space artifact display after the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum. You can enjoy tours and space shows at the center established in 1962 by founder Patty Carey. Today the center, located on the campus of Hutchinson Community College, is complete with one of the original IMAX® Dome Theaters, a planetarium, classrooms, a three-level exhibit gallery, and an SR-71 Blackbird lobby display.
