  • Birmington, AL: Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame.  If the sounds of Duke Ellington, Erskine Hawkins and Nat King Cole, excite you, then visit the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame, Birmingham, AL. The Hall of Fame was originally founded in 1978 and built in an art-deco style. It is a grand museum that features artists with ties to Alabama.
  • Birmington, AL: Birmingham Zoo – As of 2015, this zoo has been serving the community for 60 years! The staff keep the zoo featured with ever changing themes and projects. The zoo works to preserve animal species and events. Come, educate yourself and your children about the exciting animal kingdom!
  • Dothan, AL: Adventureland Theme Park is located in Dothan, AL. Adventureland Theme Park (amusement park) is open every day of the year!  Great family fun! No gate admission required.
  • Gadsden, AL: Noccalula Falls (see also: Features/Hours/ Seasons) – Noccalula Falls, named for the legendary indian maid, Noccalula, is located in Gadsden, AL and features many memorable experiences of the outdoors, including camping, Mini-Golf, a train, a pioneer village and more. Events can be scheduled for park use.
  • Huntsville, AL: EarlyWorks Museum – The EarlyWorks Family of Museums ("Three museums-one incredible adventure" provides hands-on learning. Located in Huntsville, AL, The EarlyWorks Family of Museums "will take you on a journey back in time."
  • Huntsville, AL: U.S. Space & Rocket Center – The U.S. Space & Rocket Center delivers great fun and adventure, with regular events. Located in Huntsville, AL there is something there for everyone.
  • Midway, AL: Wehle Nature Center – The Wehle Nature Center in Midway, AL is located on 25 acres of rolling hill country in Bullock County. The nature center is designed to enhance the appreciation for conservation and "features conservation and environmental education exhibits aimed at both students and adults." Many features are available for meetings.
  • Montgomery, AL: Hank Williams Museum – The Hank Williams Museum is located in Montgomery, AL and is billed as one of the top tourist attractsions. Hiram (Hank) Williams sang country music that touched the hearts of Americans. He was known as the father of contemporary country music. Born in September 1923, he started formed a band after his mother moved the family to Montgomery and passed away in January of 1953 at the age of 29.
  • Montgomery, AL: Alabama Department of Archives & History is located in Montgomery, AL, this stunning building, made of Alabama marble, is the oldest state-funded building. Housed in this building are a vast array of documents related to Alabama and the Civil War, among others. They continue to add to their ever expanding collection of historical items.
  • Montgomery, AL: Shakespeare FestivalAlabama Shakespeare Festival is held year-round in Montgomery, AL the Alabama Shakespeare Festival is billed as the 6th largest Shakespeare Festival in the world.
